Acid-washed concrete is a method using acid to permeate into concrete, eating away at the top layers of cement to expose the hidden aggregates (stones).
It looks fantastic and creates positive traction, thus reducing the possibility of slipping and falling. Non-slip surfaces are important in many work areas for health and safety regulatory compliance. Slip-resistant surfaces are important in home areas too, particularly around pools and patios.
